WE HAVE MOVED!

CrierBell_sm

After considerable thought and deliberation, this blog has been moved to reflect a different perspective. Heretofore, this blog and all those associated with it were conceived under the name of:

The American Eagle Party

This change is for one word only in the name and with wording for the new motto. Instead of the new blog being for ‘Purely Background and Platform Repository, For the Development of a New Political Party,’ it will be for:

The Restoration of Our Rights To:

“Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”

All content comment and pages remain the same, only NOW moved to its new location. The NEW Logo will remain the same with the above exceptions.

Why were these changes necessary?

Many people have bad feelings or mixed feelings in general, about politics, politicians, police or anything with the words ‘politic’ or ‘political’ in print, on display or in conversation. Many people do like to talk about religion or politics and these two are often viewed as divisive or wedges of contention between groups of people. But the root of all these words, including the word ‘police’ from its origin is not a ‘four letter’ word (it actually has 5 letters). It is not a bad word or an expletive.

In the ancient Greek language, polis was a walled city, built not to keep people inside, but to protect them from enemies from without. All the above words are derived from this Greek word polis. From this origin, a policeman would protect US the poles from enemies. This is what politics, politicians, police and all things political are supposed to do, protect us from all enemies – foreign and domestic as seen in oaths of office and declarations by our military. So from the purest sense, this is how I use these words and what is meant by them. Though WE do not live inside a walled city or country, WE are all citizens, guests or aliens living or dwelling inside a political system. We are all political and we are all politicians and poles of this polis called, the United States of America.

The next necessary change was with the word ‘party.’ Have you ever been to or hosted any kind of party? Some parties could be ‘wild & crazy.’ Some parties could be boring. Sometimes, some people can’t wait to either leave a party or for the partygoers to leave. Parties generally last for either a pre-determined time, but if not set, they are not supposed to last indefinitely.

So when the word ‘political’ is used with the word ‘party,’ there can be a whole lot of different ideas and meanings, but this is not the purpose of this blog. I really do not want to start just another ‘movement,’ a ‘thing,’ or another political party. For at least a hundred years or more, WE have had, endured, or possibly enjoyed a two-party system (especially if our particular party was or is in control of WE the People). That’s a long time for parties to be going on! J And many of these party officials have been at the party for most of their lives. And that’s a long time for partygoers to be at a party! J

This blog is more than an advocate for change. It is really all about restoration and restoring the rights of WE the People. The word ‘SERVICE’ is much more appropriate for this endeavor. The words ‘service’ and ‘servant’ holds different images and meanings than party and partygoers. To serve one another is something WE each should do!  Service should be our individual and collective mindset.  Service should be born out of love for country, freedom and liberty. Without liberty, there can be no freedoms. Without freedoms there is no republic. Without service – country, freedom, liberty and the republic will fail. If the republic fails, so goes our rights to “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”

The military serve and most mottos of most police organizations are to “Protect and Serve!” Nowhere in the writings of our founding fathers and mothers; The Declaration of Independence, or The Constitution are found anything about lifetime or long time appointments or elections to office. Nowhere is there found words of privileges or rights to those appointments or elected offices. The ideas of our founding fathers and mothers were to serve for some term as a responsibility for the rights available to and enjoyed by all. This is our individual duty and responsibility. WE are to protect and serve, for our rights to “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”

So this is the whole reasoning for these changes and the purpose of this blog and all others associated with it, to serve for a limited time for –

The Restoration of Our Rights To:

“Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
